Why?

1) People put so much effort into making and wearing their costumes. Everyone gets to release their inner artist for a single event. Super awesomesauce.

2) Every channel releases a special. (I have been such a laze lately, though; bringing myself to turn on the television has been quite impossible.) Saves me the task of having to look for a pretty good scarer online.

3) Sweets! 'Nuff said.

And, most importantly:

4) I get to be my usually creepy (and, sometimes, unintentionally frightening) self without being judged at all. ☺ (BabbleTranslate: I get to acquire absolute joy from being able to scare people, or from being able to just witness people getting scared. Priceless Gabbi-thing.)

By the way, (for some reason) I would really love to dress up as something or someone this year! If I were to make this possible, though, I would have to decide on a costume now so I may look for the appropriate materials.

This is going to be so fun!
