Why I'm single

....aside from the fact that I, despite being legal, am yet too young and too unprepared for a relationship (as per my parents).
A person usually lists qualities of someone he would like to have as a lover. I will break that tradition and, instead, list qualities of someone I would rather
not have as a lover.
First and foremost: I will not let myself fall for a guy who sends frequent compliments or flirtatious remarks my way (not that I hate compliments or flirtatious remarks; as a matter of fact, I am a
complete sucker for them), for such a guy will only reach the extent of
liking me; nothing more. Or, if he does learn to love me, that kind of love will only be short-lived and regrettably forgettable.
Second: I will not fall for a guy who, if ever I were to ask him to define a word for me, would answer me with a word of the same meaning. Needless to say, "definition" and "synonym" are two distinct words.
Third: I will not fall for a guy who has never read at least three poems he was not required to read. Just because.
