There's this guy around my age (maybe younger) at church. He earns money by helping people park their cars and watching over the cars while the owners are attending Mass.
Whenever it rains, he carries this big umbrella around, waits for people, and checks whether or not they brought umbrellas. If they weren't able to, he offers his. If they were, he offers his, anyway (especially if the umbrellas were not big enough).
If it were not obvious by now, he is a total sweetheart. Obviously, it isn't easy to watch over cars, and, in his case, watch over everyone passing by, with the low cash-in and the risk of getting run over.
Despite everything, he meets you with a big smile, and, ninety-nine point nine percent of the time, you cannot help but smile back.
